Made from 100% Australian grown wheat and barley, 36 SOUTH is an approachable, easy drinking whisky for all to enjoy, whether as a cocktail, in a mixer or neat - how you enjoy it is up to you, as long as you do it with your mates.36 SOUTH takes its name from the latitude of the Morris winery and distillery that has been the home of the Morris family since 1859. The extreme seasonal climate here at 36 South is a huge part of our unique aging process, allowing the development of whisky which is smooth and easy but still complex. After distillation, the spirit is aged onsite in Morris family owned Australian red wine barrels to impart incredible depth of flavour.
It gives beautiful golden syrup and rolled oats on the front palate, developing into hints of ANZAC biscuits and toasted oak. A long, buttery finish with notes of spiced gingerbread give it a true depth and complexity of flavour. Fantastic by itself or in a whisky and dry, this is a truly iconic Australian whisky from the team at MORRIS.

APPEARANCE: Golden honey. NOSE: Sticky raspberry jam and toasted cereal, gives way to swirling vanilla cream. PALATE: Upfront dried red fruits balanced with lightly charred oak, developing into hints honey glazed cinnamon pastry. FINISH: A long buttery finish with notes of freshly baked spiced gingerbread.
